CO3 – Digital Disruptive Technologies to Co-create, Co-produce and Co-manage Open Public Services along with Citizens (Urban Modeling)

Description: The project aimed to study and evaluate the risks and benefits of technologies such as blockchain, augmented reality, geo-localized social networks, liquid democracy tools, and gamification in the co-creation, co-production, and co-management of public services with citizens as partners of public administrations. A technological infrastructure was created within the project that can foster sharing and collaboration between public administrations and citizens in the co-production and co-management of public services. This is being pursued through crowdsourced map information sharing, manipulation of financial objects built with blockchain, online deliberations, augmented reality, and gamification techniques. FirstLife maps, within an app with other digital technologies, are used within the project for participatory urban mapping/modeling initiatives. Location: The CO3 Urban Modeling in Empty buildings project was tested at the two pilot sites in Paris (FR) and Athens (GR).
